CNC Turning

Here at March we have a comprehensive range of CNC Lathes that allow us to turn a large spectrum of materials, sizes and batch quantities competently and efficiently. Our wide knowledge and skill base has allowed us to undertake some technically challenging small batch work for the aerospace and oil & gas industries. At the same time, because of our versatility, we have managed to balance our workload with medium to large batch work.

We have seven lathes at present ranging from small bar feed Hardinges through to two large capacity Goodway chucking lathes.

CNC Milling

In total we have six CNC milling machines, three 3 axis, one with 4th axis capability and two 5 axis machines, complete with full 5 axis simultaneous machining ability. All machines are directly linked to our central computer system so programming can be accomplished by direct programming via the Heidenhain controls or offline programmed using our Mastercam CAM software. We can work directly from most types of CAD files and can also, via our Aberlink CMM use these files to carry out the inspection of the finished machined parts.
